I lived in this general area in the 1960's. The uranium mines that were the reason for the town's existence closed in about 1981. Thanks for bringing it back to life through your art"
Sheila works in pencil, soft pastel, pencil crayon and acrylic. She received formal art training at the University of Regina, receiving her Bachelor of Education majoring in Fine Art. After years of doing "other things" she was finally able to find the time to renew her passion for art. Pet Portraits are one of my favorites. Many of the portraits are memorials.
